St. Pete Pride Parade: The St. Pete Pride parage has grown into the largest parade in the Southeast. More than 200,000 people are expected to travel along a new route through downtown St. Pete on Saturday. On Friday there will be a free concert in Straub Park from 7-10 p.m. featuring local artists as a fundraiser for local non-profits. The festivities start at 2 p.m. on Saturday and the parade will start along Bayshore Drive at 6:30 p.m. concluded with fireworks. stpetepride.com.

Star Wars Night: Calling all Star Wars and baseball fans. The Tampa Bay Rays are bringing back Star Wars Night in the Trop. On Saturday costumed characters can be found throughout Tropicana Fields and a free Kiermaier Star Wars bobblehead will be given out. Visit raysbaseball.com. for ticket prices.

Zoo’s Summer Sunset Celebration: The Lowry Park Zoo’s Summer Sunset Celebration kicks off this weekend. Perfect for date night or a family night, the park will stay open for fans to take a stroll as the sun sets. The celebration will include live music, roaming entertainment, special dining options and an expanded light show finale Friday and Saturday from 4-10 p.m. It will run on weekends through July 29 and is included with admission. Sabrina Carpenter: 18-year-old pop singer Sabrina Carpenterfrom Disney’s Girl Meets World will be at Tropicana Field for the Rays versus Baltimpre Orioles game at 1:10 p.m. Saturday. Sunday she will have a free post-game concert. There will also be free Rays fidget spinners for fans under 14. There will not be field wristbands issued for this concert, instead the stage will be set up along the right field line near the Papa John’s Bullpen Box. raysbaseball.com.
