Disney Princesses are taking over the Bay Area this weekend as Disney On Ice comes to Tampa. Besides that there are plenty of other things to do this weekend with the whole family.

Disney on Ice comes to Amalie Arena this weekend for its World of Enchantment tour. Fans will get the best of many worlds as Amalie Arena transforms from waves to Frozen to even the rink. Lightning McQueen, Ariel the mermaid, and the gang from Toy Story will put on a show the whole family can enjoy. Then Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff will take over the arena so everyone can have a real Frozen experience. There are seven shows Friday through Sunday. National Geographic photojournalist and documentary filmmaker Ami Vitale will be in Tampa on Tuesday to give a talk about her journey through war zones to help reintroduce rhinos to the wild. “Rhinos, Rickshaws and Revolutions: My Search for Truth” will be on display at Ferguson Hall at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts as part of National Geographic’s Live speaker series. Vitale has lived in mud huts and braved civil war in Guinea-Bissau as her career began. The talk begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 1010 MacInnes Place, Tampa. Tickets are $25. strazcenter.org.

Fans of the movie Drumline are in for a treat this weekend as Drumline Live comes to the Bay Area. Created by the executive band consultant this highly percussive, high-stepping show brings the marching band to the Carol Morsani Hall stage at Tampa’s Straz Center on Sunday. The show is a synchronized musical showcase that incorporates original compositions and intertretations of Top 40 hits. The music starts at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 1010 N MacInnes Place, Tampa.
