Pinellas County detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect who broke into Cox Air Conditioning & Heating property located at 2198 Calumet street in unincorporated Clearwater.
According to detectives, during the midnight hours between Wednesday, April 9, 2014 and Thursday, April 10, 2014 the suspect entered the property by cutting the chain link fence that surrounds the business. The suspect then broke into two of the company vehicles that were stored inside of the fenced in area and began to fill a 30-gallon rubber garbage can with air conditioning and heating related parts.
The suspect is described as a middle aged white or Hispanic male with a thin build and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, khaki cargo shorts and dark colored shoes.
The investigation continues.
