Trump, Clinton frighten Tampa motorists in new campaign for Halloween horror park

For months, fear and anxiety of the presidential elections has loomed over our heads. And now, in a horrifying twist, it looms over the highways as well.

A unique double billboard was erected today that spans Interstate 275 in Tampa promoting Scream-A-Geddon, Tampa Bay’s scariest horror park. Panels on both sides of the highway feature the headline, “Scarier than…” followed by larger-than-life images of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, respectively, glaring down across the road from each other.

This tongue-in-cheek, bipartisan message was created by the award-winning Tampa advertising and branding agency Schifino Lee as part of an integrated campaign for the horror park.

“Our team really wanted the billboards to grab the public’s attention with a fresh reality-is-scarier-than-fiction, ripped-from-the-headlines approach,” said Ben Lee, Principal at Schifino Lee, “Who better than Trump and Clinton?”

Rather than take the typical path of showing off some hideous creature from the park, the billboards will help break through the clutter and differentiate the attraction from its bigger competitors in Tampa and Orlando. Schifino Lee will also be handling the park’s broadcast media.

Schifino Lee is a national branding agency with a proven track record for building brands through integrated communications in digital, traditional, experiential and social media. Schifino Lee clients include Black Rock Bar + Grill, WellCare Health Plans, Tampa Museum of Art, Gerdau Steel, Vigo Importing/Alessi, and Tampa Maid Foods.

Scream-A-Geddon, located outside of Dade City, will be open on select nights from October through November 5, 2016. For more information on the horror park, visit: http://www.screamageddon.com/.
