According to the Sheriff’s Office, the school received a bomb threat on a voicemail on Tuesday morning. Students are being taken on buses to the nearby Publix parking lot while the school is checked, as a precaution.
Students who ride bikes or walk to school are also being offered a ride to the parking lot until they can return to school safely or will be moved to another location for the day.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is on scene conducting a sweep of the school and investigating the threat.
