Silver Alerts Issued In Lakeland And Inverness

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office has issued a silver alert for a missing 65-year-old Inverness woman, who was last seen Wednesday morning.

Police say Donna Cathleen Drake was physically last seen leaving her home on 4624 South Florida Ave. at 9:45 a.m. She was departing to head to Crystal River.

Her last known whereabout was on northbound Interstate 75 near the Alachua area. She was driving a four-door 2006 gray Hyundai.

Drake is described as a white woman 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing about 140 pounds. She has blue eyes and blonde hair.

If anyone sees Drake please call 911.

Silver Alert Issued In Lakeland

A silver alert has been issued for a missing elderly man, said the Lakeland Police Department.

Grady Palmer, 76, was last seen on May 24 around 7:30 p.m. He was driving a green Ford Explorer with the Florida tag: 193-OKB at that time.

Police say Palmer suffers from dementia and never returned to his home on East Memorial Boulevard Wednesday night.

Palmer is 5’8″ and about 150 pounds. When he was last seen he was wearing green khaki pants, a beige button shirt, a navy blue golf cap, and black dress shoes.
