9-Year-Old Brevard Boy Missing After House Fire

A missing child alert has been issued for a nine-year-old boy, said Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Two adults and one child are missing following a deadly house fire over the weekend.

Officers say the fire broke out around 10:30 a.m. in Malabar in the 800 block of Atz Road. Firefighters found one victim, which has sparked a death investigation.

The missing child alert has been issued for Sebastian Meachum. Officers believe Sebastian may be with Tony and Chrissy Hughes, both 39-years-old.

The couple may be driving a 2012 Nautic Global Gorup18-foot boat with the Florida tag number 3066PJ.

Officers say Tony is a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is about 5’10” tall and was last seen in a black Harley Davidson t-shirt, blue jeans and black boots. Chrissy is a white female with brown hair and blue eyes. She is about 5’05” tall.

Law enforcement authorities are telling the public to not approach the couple, but to contact authorities immediately.

The Brevard COunty Property Appraiser website shows the Hughes own a home at 855 Atz Road, and purchased that home in 2014.

Anyone with information on Sebastian’s whereabouts has been asked to call 911 or the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office at 321-264-5217.
