National Cheese Pizza Day Deals

In the wake of Hurricane Irma possibly making landfall in Florida, let’s not forget that today is National Cheese Pizza Day!

According to Pizza.com, about 100 acres of pizza is consumed by Americans a day or about 350 slices per second. The website also says each person eats about 46 slices of pizza a year.

All around the country, there are deals for cheese pizza and who doesn’t enjoy a yummy slice of cheesy pizza? Here are the best deals in Florida:

Pizza Hut

On Tuesday, September 5, Pizza Hut is offering large cheese pizzas for $5. That’s about five to six bucks cheaper than a normal priced large cheese pizza. The discount is good for just National Cheese Pizza Day (September 5th) and is good for pickup or delivery. Must be placed on Pizza Hut’s website or through the app with the code SAYCHEESE. But the deal doesn’t stop there! From September 5 through September 11 Pizza Hut will offer 50 percent off menu-priced pizza orders. Yum!

Domino’s

On Tuesday Domino’s will be running three special promotions at all locations. Large three-topping carry out pizzas for $7.00 each, medium two-topping handmade pan pizzas for $8.99 each and choose any two or more select menu-items for $5.99 each. To find the location nearest, you check click here.

Papa John’s

Now through September 10 earn a free pizza when you spend $15 or more on online orders with promo GAMEDAY. Must be a Papa Rewards member and the free pizza must be redeemed by Sept. 24.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse
It may not be pizza, but it is a pizza pie! Every Tuesday BJ’s sells Pizookie desserts for $3. However, this week the chain’s 194 restaurants will donate all proceeds from cookie dessert orders to the American Red Cross in support of the Houston relief efforts.
The next made-up pizza holidays include National Pizza Day in February, National Pepperoni Pizza Day on September 20, and National Sausage Pizza Day on October 11.
