Man Gets Death Sentence For Killing Estranged Wife

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (AP) — Jurors have decided unanimously that a Florida man should die for killing his estranged wife.

The Florida Times-Union reports that 48-year-old Sean Alonzo Bush received his death sentence Thursday. He was previously convicted of first-degree murder.

St. Johns County deputies found 35-year-old Nicole Bush shot, stabbed and beaten to death at her home in 2011. Her husband was arrested three months later after DNA evidence tied him to the killing.
