Amazon Considers Diving Into Brick-And-Mortar Business

It might be the worst thing that could happen to the 27,000 people who work for RadioShack, but the potential demise of the nearly century-old consumer electronics chain might bolster the position of one of the nation’s newest retailers. Amazon is said to be in talks to acquire some RadioShack locations if and when the Texas-based company files for bankruptcy.

It would represent Amazon’s biggest push yet into the traditional retail environment.
