For those who don’t know about Game of Thrones, the series is set in the mythical continent of Westeros where seven powerful families fight for control of the Seven Kingdoms.

It is not for the faint of heart as there is plenty of sex, killing, back stabbing and intrigue to go around for all. There are iron kings to the killing queens, the series is wrapped around the lies, deceit, and rivalries between the kingdoms, leading to gruesome depictions of war, rape, violence, and death.

For those who are GOT fans the big news is according to the Los Angeles Times, they confirmed with Joe Dempsie that Gendry is returning. The Times scored the following information about season seven.

We won’t spoil at what point Gendry pops up in the season but in a chat with The Times a few hours before the premiere, Dempsie said he was relieved by the reaction from the diehard fans who sleuthed it out. “Very, fortunately, from what I’ve seen it’s been nothing but interest and excitement and some quite witty memes.”

One popular fan theory is that Gendry, who is known to be a skilled blacksmith, will link up with Sam Tarly, who finds the formula for Valyrian steel in the Citadel library. When we first are introduced to Gendry, he’s working as an apprentice in King’s Landing for Tobho Mott, who is one of few armorers who knows how to rework Valyrian steel.

Now that we know Gendry is coming back, can we count on Hot Pie next? The people want Hot Pie.
