British PM Says Muslim Family Denied U.S. Travel

Prime Minister David Cameron’s office said Wednesday he will look into claims that U.S. officials prevented a British Muslim family of 11 from flying to Disneyland for a planned. No explanation was given, according to Stella Creasy, a member of the opposition Labour Party, for the refusal to allow her constituents to make the trip.

One family member, Mohammed Zahid Mahmood, said his brother and their nine children, were told nothing except that they were not allowed to travel to the US despite having obtained clearance. It’s a sensitive issue given Donald Trump’s call for a temporary ban on Muslims visiting the U.S. due to concerns about extremist attacks.
