First, Amazon announced its Prime Day sale for Wednesday, with hundreds of price deals promised in honor of the retail giant’s 20th anniversary. Things like a 32-inch LED TV for just $75, or a 40-incher for $115. Now, these deals are only available to those who are members of Amazon Prime, which includes a membership fee. But nonetheless, Walmart has countered saying it will offer more than 2,000 discounts to anyone who visits their website on Wednesday as well. Amazon isn’t so pleased about that, but capitalism at its finest, competition breeds lower prices. Wednesday morning, the websites should be lighting up like its December.
