A total ban on smoking and use of tobacco products is now in place on the University of South Florida campus in Tampa.
The ban includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, chewing tobacco, and hookahs.
It’s campus wide. Even designated smoking areas are now gone.
And it applies not just to day to day campus activities but also to public events, sporting events, and graduation.
Besides health concerns, the ban comes as USF looks to more ways to recruit students.
