The identity of the man who walked into his former workplace to shoot employees has been released. Army veteran John Robert Neumann, Jr. targeted employees during his shooting spree at his former workplace Monday morning.

According to Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Jerry Demings, Neumann had a “negative relationship” with at least one of the five victims at Fiamma Inc.

Neumann was fired from the company, which makes accessories for recreational vehicles, in April 2017.

“He was certainly singling out the individuals he shot,” Demings told reporters during a news brief Monday afternoon. Neumann then turned the gun on himself.

In 2014 police responded to a battery complaint involving Neumann at Fiamma. Authorities said the victim of that battery incident was not among those found dead.

Police believe Neumann acted alone and with no ties to terror or subversive groups and hedidn’t appear to have a concealed weapons permit for the pistol he used.

He was an Army veteran who was dishonorably discharged in 1999 and lived alone. He has arrests for DUI and marajuana possession.

The Victims:

Police have identified Robert Snyder, 69; Brenda Montanez-Crespo, 44; Kevin Clark, 53; Kevin Lawson, 46; and Jeffrey Roberts, 57, as the victims of Monday mornings workplace shooting.

WKMG reported that Clark was a widower and a single father of a 17-year-old son and a 14-year-old daughter. His wife died six years ago.

Lawson was a married father of four daughters and had two granddaughters, said WKMG. Synder was just one year away from retirement, according to his neighbor. That neighbor also said that Synder normally went into work early in the morning and came home late.

Roberts was a sales manager at Fiamma. His LinkedIn account showed he had started the job in January. There was no information available yet about Montanez-Crespo.

The shooting came a week before the Pulse nightclub massacre, which Orlando is still trying to rebuild from.
