DEBARY, Fla. (AP) — A newborn baby is being treated at an Orlando hospital after being found wrapped in newspaper outside a DeBary convenience store.

A man told authorities he heard the baby crying early Monday. He picked her up and wrapped her in a towel he found. The man then flagged down a newspaper delivery man who called 911.

The baby was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, where she was listed in “good” condition.

Temperatures in the area dipped into the 40s early Monday.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

No further details were immediately available.
