A homicide investigation is taking place in a Gibsonton home Thursday morning after a deadly shooting.
According to an official from the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office, it all happened in the 11000 block of Inglewood Drive, just after 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Emergency rescue crews and detectives arrived to the home after someone called and said one man had been shot.
Authorities say the victim, identified as Andrew Edie, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are interviewing possible witnesses in the neighborhood, including another man who they say was inside the home at the time of the shooting.
No word yet on a suspect, a possible motive or the victim’s identity.
