After An In Flight Cardiac Scare Carrie Fisher Is Stable
Carrie Fisher is in stable condition after a cardiac scare on a flight from London to Los Angeles, said her mother Debbie Reynolds.
“Carrie is in stable condition,” Reynolds tweeted. “If there is a change, we will share it. For all her fans & friends. I thank you for your prayers & good wishes.”
The Star Wars actress was on a United Airlines flight approaching Los Angeles on Friday when became ill. Fisher, 60, was transported off of the flight to a hospital from Los Angeles International Airport, said a source to CNN.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson told CNN “LAFD responded to LAX gate 74 for patient on inbound flight in cardiac arrest.”
“Paramedics standing by upon arrival provided advanced life support and aggressively treated and transported patient to local hospital.”
Other celebrities on the flight took to Twitter to express their shock and concern for the Princess Leia actress.
