Gabriel Brignoni has joined the rolls of Florida’s most-hapless arrestees.

The 32-year-old DeLand man was picked up at home Thursday on bank robbery charges without a great deal of legwork by investigators, records show.

When the Wells Fargo Bank in Lake Mary was robbed last month, the suspect left behind his personal identification including his home address, arrest records show.

“It appears that the suspect came into the bank to cash a check and was asked by the teller, …if he wanted to open an account at the bank,” the report states. Another employee,…came up to the suspect to discuss his options…(and) got a copy of the suspect’s driver’s license and Social Security card.”
