Partly Sunny Thursday

Showers and a few storms will continue to drift east onshore in Pasco County and a few will develop over Pinellas into Hillsborough through lunch time.

There will finally be a few showers closer to the coast today and tonight as a cold front gradually approaches the area.  Not everyone will see rain today, but rain chances will run 20-30%.

It will be a warm day today, as we are starting in the mid 70s near the coast, mid 60s inland.  Winds are out of the WSW coming off of the water that is in the low 80s now.

That’ll will keep our morning temperatures warm along the immediate coast.  Highs are headed to the upper 80s this afternoon.

After another afternoon of showers, we’ll have a little break in the rain until after midnight.  That is when a cold front will swing through the area bringing a few showers with it around 3-5am.

Temperatures don’t cool much behind the front, but the humidity will dip a touch and it will be a bit breezy on Thursday.

Today: Partly sunny with scattered showers and storms.  Winds WSW 10-15 mph with highs in the upper mid to upper 80s.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a few shower and storms after midnight. Winds turning NW 10-15 mph with lows in the upper 60s to near 70.
