All Clear After Reported Shooter Situation At Andrews AFB

Update: Joint Base Andrews has issued the all clear and lifted the lockdown after the reported shooting situation.

Joint Base Andrews in Washington D.C. is currently on lockdown. The base tweeted out just after 9 a.m. Thursday that there were reports of an active shooter.

A drill was initially scheduled for Thursday morning but has been cancelled and called a real-world situation.

Andrews AFB is the home of Air Force One. The base is home to more than 2,500 people, all of which were advised to shelter in place.

Vice President Joe Biden was scheduled to fly to Ohio but that flight has been delayed.
