A Rainy Cold Front Moves In Today

A cold front will move across Tampa Bay Thursday with only a minor drop in temperatures Friday before warming back up into the weekend. You will notice the front when the winds switch and the rain ends.  Expect a drop in humidity to last through Saturday morning before it increases over the weekend.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. South southwest wind 10 mph becoming west northwest and increasing to 15-20 mph. Rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible during the morning.

Thursday Night: Cooler temps with a low of 59. North northeast wind between 8 and 11 mph.

Friday: Breezy and dry with partly sunny skies. East northeast wind 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday: Low of 64 and a High of 84. East 10-15 mph

Marine Forecast:  Winds southwest to NW at 15 knots, seas 4-5 feet, bay waters a lchoppy, surf temp: 68 degrees.
