It’s Election Day In The UK

Brits are going to the polls on Thursday to vote in Britain’s most unpredictable general election in decades. Polls show the two biggest parties — Labour and the Conservatives — running in a virtual dead heat.

The election could decide issues such as whether Britain holds a referendum on whether to leave the European Union, takes steps to greatly limit immigration, and continues its austerity programs.

If estimates are correct, the outcome of the election will be determined by only one-third of eligible voters actually voting.
