White House Stands Behind ISIS, Refugee Policy

During his press conference at the conclusion of the G20 summit in Turkey on Monday, President Obama defended his administration’s strategy for defeating ISIS, and criticized suggestions that the U.S. should block entry of Syrian refugees to prevent terrorists from slipping into the country. In the wake of the Paris attack, a slew of Republican presidential candidates, governors, and lawmakers, are either calling for an escalation of military force against ISIS, or a halt to allowing Syrian refugees into the country, or both.
