Standing in front of a C-130 turbo-prop plane like the one he commanded in the Air Force, Rick Perry on Thursday announced his second presidential candidacy. Unlike his 2012 bid, Perry doesn’t have the weight of the Texas governorship weighing on his shoulders this time.
He does, however, face the prospect of a criminal trial after felony charges alleging that he abused his power were filed last August. Jim talks about the challenges standing between Rick Perry and the White House.
