Ted Cruz says he’ll shake things up, and that many prominent Republicans are begging Iowans not to vote for him. Former Sen. Bob Dole joined that parade on Wednesday, which also includes the Republican governor of Iowa.
The fear is that mainstream voters will ultimately abandon Cruz in droves, and with him, all the other Republicans running for office. Cruz meanwhile says nonsense, they are afraid simply afraid of change, and effectively uses each defection as a fundraising tool.
