STUART, Fla. (AP) — Gov. Rick Scott says spending money to restore the Everglades is “worth every penny.”
He spoke at the opening session Thursday night of the Everglades Coalition’s annual conference in Stuart.
Scott says he’s committed to getting the River of Grass restored and that he’s optimistic the Legislature will approve his budget request for Everglades projects.
