Michelle Obama, the First Lady, will be in Tampa today.
She will meet with school children from St. Petersburg’s John Sexton Elementary School becasue of their health and wellness stance by providing students with baked chips and unlimited fruit and vegetables at lunchtime.
The school recently received an award from the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
Mrs. Obama will arrive at theTampaInternationalAirport at 2:50 p.m. and will also speak at a Democratic National Committee reception this afternoon before traveling to Fort Lauderdale for another event this evening.
