Kansas, A State Politically Divided With Two Major Races

Kansas City is a city divided, much like the state of Kansas. Though it is the Missouri and Kansas Rivers, along with the state line, doing the job on Kansas City, in Kansas, it is politics.

It is the state in the middle of the continental United States, and politically appears right down the middle coming into this Election Day.

Both the U.S. Senate race between Republican Incumbent Pat Roberts and Independent candidate Greg Orman, plus the race between Gov. Pat Roberts and his challenger Democrat Paul Davis, are widely seen as toss-ups.

Scott looks at both these races, and what broader issues they bring to light that may be affecting other races around the country.
