Congress Returns With Little Time Before Midterms

Now that members have returned from a five week recess, Congress will need to pass a short-term funding bill to keep government agencies open past the end of the month. What else is on the agenda? There’ll be hearings this week on the militarization of local police, the state of Veterans health care and progress on Obamacare implementation. But ISIS is at the top of members’ minds as they return to the capitol. Meanwhile, a new ABC News Washington Post poll has the latest President Obama job approval numbers.
