What Motivated The Chattanooga Shooting?

A gunman unleashed a barrage of gunfire at two military facilities a few miles apart in Chattanooga on Thursday, killing at least four Marines. The gunman was also killed. Officials are treating the attacks as an act of “domestic terrorism,” though authorities were still investigating a motive.

The gunman has been identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez of Hixton, Tennessee, believed to have been born in Kuwait, though it was unclear whether he was a U.S. or Kuwaiti citizen.

ABC’s Ryan Burrow is in Chattanooga this morning, and has the latest details on the shootings.
