WH Narrows List Of Potential Supreme Court Nominees

Despite being told by Senate Majority Leader McConnell and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Grassley, that there will be no Supreme Court nomination hearings during the remainder of his presidency, the White House reportedly has narrowed their list of potential nominees down to three.

The battle over the nomination is bound to dominate the remaining months of the Obama presidency, and the question remains whether the Republicans will be able to hold their pledge of ignoring whoever the president puts forward, despite what promises to be a spirited public campaign by the White House to replace the seat vacated with the death of Justice Scalia.
