Tom Brady Responds To 4-Game Suspension

Even pro football quarterbacks married to supermodels can have bad days. Case in point: the news yesterday that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has upheld the four-game suspension imposed on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady over deflate-gate. In denying Brady’s appeal of the suspension, Goodell stated that the fact that Brady destroyed his cell phone after he was well aware the league wanted to look at it, that convinced him the star quarterback had something to hide.

The commissioner also said he found Brady’s denial of involvement in the scheme to deflate the footballs not credible. Now the league awaits response from Brady and the players union, but it appears the Patriots will be without Brady until October.

And what this does for his legacy remains to be seen.
