Texas Sues Obama Administration For Bathroom Directive

Texas has become the first state in the nation to sue the Obama Administration over the president’s directive regarding transgender students in public schools. State Attorney General Ken Paxton filed suit yesterday, formally lodging Texas’ complaint to the new rule requiring school administrators to allow students to use the restroom that matches their “gender identity,” rather than their physical gender. Nearly a dozen states have joined in.
