Lawmakers in one of the most conservative states in the Union approved the sale of marijuana for medical purposes last year. One year from today (Wednesday), Texas will begin accepting applications for organizations that plan to dispense low-THC Cannabis under the Lone Star State’s Compassionate Use Program.
