Ten Commandments Monument Must Be Removed From Oklahoma Capitol

The Oklahoma State Supreme Court, meanwhile, has ordered that a stone Ten Commandments monument must be removed from the grounds of the capitol in Oklahoma City.

By a margin of 7-2, the court decided Tuesday that the granite tablet violates the Oklahoma Constitution by using public money or property to directly or indirectly benefit a “church denomination or system of religion.” ABC’s Jim Ryan covers the region and will have the latest.
