The Waller County, Texas DA’s office held a news conference on Thursday to discuss the autopsy findings on the death of Sandra Bland. Assistant DA Warren Diepraam said the cause of death was hanging and that there were no signs of marks or wounds to her head that would be consistent with a violent struggle. But he also pointed out that there is still a question in this case of whether it was a voluntary suicide or a homicide in the Waller County jail.
