President Obama To Unveil Final Budget Tuesday

The Obama administration will release its final annual budget proposal, which traditionally ends up bearing little resemblance to its original version once Congress gets done with it. And just in case there is any question regarding that, the Republican chairmen of both the Senate and House budget committees announced they won’t even invite OMB director Shaun Donovan to Capitol Hill to talk about it.

The budget will, by virtue of its cash allotments, lay out White House priorities and expectations, and you can hear about some of the noteworthy proposals, including those that will go nowhere, like the $10 a barrel oil tax.
