OR Shooter Shot Victims By Religion

A gunman opened fire at an Oregon community college Thursday, killing 10 people dead and injuring seven, though those numbers could change by morning. The shooting happened at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, about 180 miles south of Portland.

At a press conference, Sheriff John Hanlin said that when police responded to an active shooter situation, they confronted the suspect, and killed him in a shoot-out. Authorities believe they know his identity, but are releasing very little.
