Lawmakers Introduce Refugee Pause Legislation

The Republican-controlled House is moving quickly with legislation that would prevent any refugees from Syria or Iraq from being admitted to the U.S. unless the FBI, DHS, and the DNI, can certify to Congress that each refugee does not pose a security threat.

The bill is expected to be brought to the floor for a vote on Thursday, though whether it gets any further from there remains somewhat questionable.

Also, President Obama has fired back, even singling out GOP presidential candidates, which has caused them to fire back at him, with Ted Cruz even challenging him to a face to face debate (remember, Cruz was a champion debater at Harvard).
