Yes indeed, this $48 million, 178,000 square foot animal terminal at NYCs Kennedy Airport comes complete with USDA-approved, full-service, 24-hour, airport quarantine facility for import and export of horses, pets, birds, and livestock. There will also be a bone-shaped swimming pool for dogs to unwind, and a feline jungle gym for your cats to stretch out with after a long trip cooped up in a small cage. And those flat-screens, you can find in private pet suites. It’s privately owned, will open next year, and they have a 30-year lease. So apparently, they see a market.
