If he’s convicted of desertion, the 29-year-old could get five years in a military prison, or life if he’s found guilty of “misbehavior before the enemy.” Bergdahl is to be arraigned at Ft. Bragg, N.C., but no date has been set.
ABC’s Jim Ryan will update the case from Texas, where Bergdahl has been stationed since his release from captivity last year.
