Border Patrol Reduces Its Use Of Force

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, the largest nation’s law enforcement agency, has reduced the number of incidents related to the use of force by nearly 40% in the last year. After complaints about heavy-handedness on the part of border patrol agents, a new commissioner was appointed in March, 2014.

His Integrity Advisory Panel is credited with reducing violent encounters between agents and civilians.
