On the heels of Police dash cam video release, the family of Sandra Bland who died in a Texas jail three days after being pulled over for a routine traffic stop spoke to reporters Wednesday at a Chicago news conference along with their attorney. One of Bland’s sisters said it was clear to her that Bland was targeted and that the officer was picking on her sister “point blank period.” The Bland family attorney added that, based on the footage, it is obvious that the arrest could have easily been avoided.
