Arizona’s I-10 Shooter Remains At Large

Authorities continue to investigate nearly a dozen shooting incidents mostly along I-10 in Arizona, shootings that have left the Phoenix area on edge for two weeks. Many city drivers have avoided freeways since the 11 confirmed shootings began Aug. 29. Eight of the cars were hit with bullets and three with projectiles that could have been BBs or pellets.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, three teenagers were arrested for allegedly shooting at cars with a slingshot, but the incidents were not related to a recent string of in Phoenix-area freeway shootings. Authorities said that these copycat arrests have no link to any of the more serious shooting incidents.
