Transportation Security Administration officers confiscated 2,653 firearms in carry-on bags at airports across the country in 2015, the TSA said in a statement Thursday. That’s nearly 20 percent more than the 2,212 firearms discovered in the previous year.
Despite the TSA upping their game by upgrading to state-of-the-art technologies and improving passenger identification techniques, people are still trying to get away with hiding firearms between their 3.4 ozs of liquid and their Kindles.
