Another wrong-way driver was arrested Thursday night and accused of DUI.
Trooper Javier Hernandez saw a wrong-way driver going east in the westbound lanes of State Road 54 just west of Old Mill Pond Drive. After nearly causing a wreck, the vehicle attempted to make a U-turn and at this point Hernandez pulled over the 2006 Lexus 4-door.
It was discovered that the driver, Anh Thanh Do, 52, of New Port Richey, was found to be driving under the influence. He was transported to the Pasco County Jail and charged with DUI as well as driving in the wrong direction.
