APOPKA, Fla. (AP) _ A central Florida woman was arrested after authorities say she left her two small children in her SUV while she went into a bar for a drink.
Apopka police say officers responded to Froggers Grill & Bar Sunday afternoon after a worker called 911. The officers reported finding the children, ages 2 and 4, inside the running vehicle.
Police arrested 35-year-old April Renee King, and she was charged with child neglect. She was being held on $1,500 bail. Jail records didn’t list an attorney.
