Winter Springs High School Bomb Threat

 

Winter Springs High School in Seminole County was evacuated Monday morning, according to Seminole County Public School officials. The school is located at 130 Tuskawilla Road. Students and staff were instructed to leave after school officials issued a Code Red evacuation. Law enforcement arrived at the scene to investigate a possible bomb threat. Michael Lawrence, a spokesman for Seminole County Public School, said a student called the school and claimed there was a bomb threat.

Students and staff were instructed to leave at 7:24 a.m. after someone called the school and claimed the staff had one hour to “get everyone out,” Winter Springs police said.

Students and staff were allowed to return to school after 9 A.M. No injuries were reported.
