Winter Haven police say a sinkhole has opened up on Cypress Gardens Blvd, in the parking lot of a Publix grocery store. This happens to be right across from Legoland.
Police say they are hearing reports the hole is 30 feet wide and 5 ft deep. They haven’t gotten to the scene yet so this isn’t confirmed.
No structures are threatened at this time. The main concern is that if its near Cypress Gardens Blvd, that could pose a problem to traffic and roadway.
